Artist: dancer, choreographer and painter, works and lives in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

 

ART WORK DESCRIPTION

In his artwork he uses images from newspaper and magazine. He wants to distract the viewer by presenting sport and fashion from different point of view. New presentation of artworks is mysterious and has a new meaning.

 

In the existing photos composition, location and colours are being transformed. Realistic details of body and fashion clothes are neglected. New form is abstract where shapes and outlines become very dominant. Extending the outlines or adding imaginary outlines creates new dimensions previously not presented by the newspaper.

 

Inspiration comes from philosophy on visual perception as well as dance theory on extended imaginary lines in space. As a result images can be associated with mysterious creatures in the mysterious worlds.
