Daniël van Nes
Daniël van Nes was born in 1972 in Terneuzen, The Netherlands. Being educated on and experimenting with art from a very young age, art becomes his natural language. He decides to study arts at the Antwerp Academy of Fine Arts (KASKA). He won the Veke Award for his graphics ouevre.

Daniël van Nes's artwork is influenced by contemporary lifestyles, mass- and subcultures, fetishes, urban decay. His work is mostly filled with emotional and expressive realism.
In short, Daniël is building a city. The means he uses are unlimited. So far he has made paintings, drawings, sketches, animations and digital art. At the moment he is designing installations, furniture, and music. Eventually the big picture will emerge.
A new set of rules and values in a city in a different world, based upon our contemporary society. New rules, new order.
New Conformism.
